WHAT IS THE LEGACY BONUS
how do i qualify?
It's simple! Purchase a breeding contract to any available stallion at Beau Galyean Stallion Services and you are eligible for and entry into the bonus. Each breeding contract purchased = one eligible entry into the Open, Non Pro or Amateur. NOTE: Each eligible entry is good for any one horse entered into the NCHA Futurity by ANY stallion. Does NOT have to be an offspring by a stallion standing at Beau Galyean Stallion Services.
what if a breeding contract isn't available to the stallion i want to breed to?
There will be a limited number of contracts per stallion at BGSS. If the stallion you want to breed to is sold out you can purchase a breeding to any other available stallion whether you plan to use the breeding or not. Once all stallion breeding contracts are sold out - the entries will be closed for that year’s NCHA World Championship Futurity. ALL breeding contracts purchased are ONLY good for the season they are purchased in. Standard rebreeds apply but does NOT carry over your bonus entry.
how does the bonus pay out?
The bonus will pay the top 10 in the Open, Non Pro and Amateur paid out to the owner of the horse entered regardless of rider.
do i have to be riding a horse by a stallion who stands at beau galyean services?
NO! The bonus was created to collectively grow our sport. Therefore the bonus will pay to the top ten winners in the Open, Non Pro and Amateur regardless of who the offspring is Sired by.
how much is the bonus going to pay?
Based off of prior years breeding contract purchases we project to pay out $800,000 - $1,000,000!!!
do you have to make the finals to win bonus money?
No! We are cutting within a cutting. So you are competing against only those who have purchased a breeding and are also entered into The Legacy Bonus.
do cooled, frozen and icsi contracts qualify you for the bonus?
Yes! Any purchased breeding gives you an entry into the Legacy Bonus.
